If travelling alone please indicate if you are willing to share a room – while this cannot be guaranteed we will endeavour to find you a partner.

It is the responsibility of each m/cyclist to ensure that they hold the relevant licence and have adequate insurance cover –copies of driving licence and insurance will required by our office prior to departure.

All motorcycles will be subject to a road-check prior to departure, those deemed not to be roadworthy will not be allowed travel and the question of a refund will not be entertained.

Accomodation

Ben Doran Hotel

On 7-acre grounds within Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, this informal hotel features views of mountains and forested hills. It’s 7 minutes’ walk from Tyndrum Lower train station.
The simply decorated rooms provide complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Some have mountain views.
Amenities include a bar, lounges, and a garden with ponds.

Itinerary

DAY 1 - Thursday May 06th

06.30hrs Check-in for Stena Superfast VIII at Belfast (for motorcyclists ex Dublin the group will be departing at 04.30hrs from the Coachmans Inn at Dublin Airport)

07.30hrs Depart Belfast on Stena Superfast VIII

09.45hrs Arrive Cairnryan – we skirt the Firth of Clyde on the A77 and the A78 up to Gourock where we take the ferry to Dunoon. Up by Loch Eck and onto Inverary Castle. Travelling via Balantyre and Claydich we head to our first hotel, the Ben Doran Hotel, Tyndrum, where we stay for 2 nights

DAY 2 - Friday May 07th

Depart the hotel, we travel to Oban 37 mls where we check-in for the ferry to Craignure, Isle of Mull. We travel down the length of Mull 35 mls to Fionnport where we take the foot ferry to Iona. We have time on Iona to visit the Abbey. We travel back to Craignure via Balnahard & Salen (A849 & B8035) 49 mls. On arriving in Oban its back to the Ben Doran Hotel.

DAY 3 - Saturday May 08th

Check-out and depart the Hotel, take theA82/A830 to Mallaig 89mls

Fort William to Mallaig – voted the 4^th best motorcycling road in the World – lets enjoy it.

We take the Ferry to Arndale, Isle of Skye, up to Portree and onto to the top loop of Skye via Uig and Quiraing and Duntulm. Overnight tonight is at the Dunollie Hotel, Main Street, Broadford, Isle of Skye

DAY 4 - Sunday May 09th

Depart the hotel. No tour of Scotland is complete without a visit to Applecross via one of the hidden gems Plockton and onto Applecross.

Departing Applecross for Ullapool via Gairloch we take in some of the most spectacular Highland scenery with ample photo stops before we arrive at our hotel The Royal Hotel, Ullapool54 612181

DAY 5 - Monday May 10th

Check-out and depart hotel, heading south east for our final night in Prestwick. We travel down the A835 into Inverness and on down via the shores of Loch Ness, Fort Augustus, Fort William, and Loch Lomand to overnight at the Carlton Hotel, Prestwick
