Just wanted to send you a quick email re yesterday’s trip..I’ve been going to Old Trafford since 1979 primarily under my own steam as we have use of season tickets that we get plenty of opportunities to use but I’ve also gone on excursions with Tour companies and I’m sure I’ve been on quite a few with ye.

I don’t normally do this but I feel the driver that took over our coach yesterday at Dublin Port deserves special praise.He was most definitely the most pleasant and helpful coach driver I’ve ever had the pleasure of travelling with. Friendly, approachable and amusing he was a pleasure to have in charge.I’m sure in yere business ye will always have people sending ye complaining emails (I deal with the public everyday in the events industry and I know full well how petty a lot of people can be)but I also feel that credit should also be given when its due and with this driver and gentleman it certainly is.He actually got a round of applause from the people on the bus this morning and I don’t actually remember that happening before and I would hope you would forward this email to him to express my thanks again.And thanks again for another well run trip yereselves.

Just a quick note to say thank you so much for allocating really great tickets to me for last Saturday’s game (Man Utd v Southampton). My brother and I were seated behind the goal in the disabled access area and it was brilliant. The coach driver was really nice too and would get on the microphone every so often to give his passengers little trivia titbits when we would be passing through different areas on our journey through Wales and England. We really enjoyed the trip and this Friday I will be travelling with my two brothers to the Utd v Derby County FA Cup game, so I am also really looking forward to this trip. Hello, Just back from a great trip to see Man Utd vs West Brom. It was the first time we had booked with your company and I was very impressed from the start. The employees that work for your company were very helpful in helping me organise this trip for me with my brother who has autism. Every time I emailed them they would get back very quickly with a response. The match tickets arrived a four days before the match which was great. The hotel we stayed in was a fantastic hotel and only 3 minutes walk from the airport. The hotel is worthy of five stars and the staff at the hotel were very friendly. The seats at Old Trafford have been the best I ever seen for a match. I usually travel with another company but it is safe t say I will be using your company in the future.

HI John Just to advise that I travelled with Celtic Horizon tour to the above fixture last weekend – there were 2 adults and 2 children in the group. I wish to compliment your Company on the organisation of the tour and the hotel accommodation – it was perfect. Above all I would like to compliment the driver on the bus for this trip – his professionalism and attitude went far beyond the call of duty. There was a vast mixture of people in the group from families, to older people, to young guys travelling and overall everyone was well behaved and courteous to fellow travellers. There were however three guys who were drinking alcohol on the bus and gave your driver jip – however he dealt with this situation in a firm manner to the extent that these guys were like lambs for the remainder of the two days. We travelled with a 10 year old and a 9 year old and our seats at the match were magnificent. I wish to thank you, your driver and your Company for making this trip so special for my family.

It was very nice to meet you on outward trip, and hope you had a good ride back, a lot easier without the gang. I really enjoyed the whole experience it turned out to be a great trip, apart from one wet day and even Gerry could not fix that. Gerry David and Paul were terrific helpful and pleasant company and did a fantastic job ” mustering the troops” so to speak. Sitting here now thinking about it cannot believe how much ground we covered, and how many places we saw.

The hotels in Ypres and Bayeaux were terrific great breakfasts and served good food in both as well. You definitely run a five star show thank you all for a very well organized trip.

I just want to let you know how much I enjoyed my recent trip on “Route 66” which I have been dreaming about all my adult years (I am now 61 years old). I saw my opportunity when I read an advert from Celtic Horizon Tours and I seized the moment. Well it turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made. I and 18 other people met in Dublin, Ireland and flew to Chicago, Ill. where we picked up our brand new Ford Mustang Convertables 10 in total and drove west. It was to be the best experience of my life. The entire party of 19 only met in Dublin Airport for the first time on what was to be the adventure of a lifetime.

The wonderful thing was we all got on so well together and thanks to Celtic Horizon Tours the adventure was planned down to the very fine details. On our 13 day trip we stayed in 10 different hotels and each hotel was top class with no check-in all we had to do was collect our room keys and proceed to our room. This was much appreciated after a long and very very exciting days driving. I saw so many amazing sights and visited many many iconic places too many to even start mentioning and all under the guidance of Celtic Horizon Tours which meant we missed nothing on “Route 66” as our leaders knew every meter of the way which ensured we saw all that was to be seen. We also were supplied with Sat. Nav.s for those of us who wanted to do their own exploring and every hotel we stayed in was already programmed into the Sat. Nav. so there was no danger of getting lost or not finding our next hotel.

I drove the entire trip myself and I never felt alone or in any kind of danger as I followed the lead car most of the way. I saw many sights each day with every day presenting me with more and more jaw dropping moments. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better it did. I drove through 8 different states, 4 different time zones and approx. 4,000 kilometers. I just want to thank Celtic Horizon Tours for this amazing trip and for their attention to detail all of which gave me the most exciting journey I was ever on.

The hotel was brilliant, the isolated location gave us great peace of mind that the students would try sneak out at night. We pull really recommend you consider this hotel for future school groups! The allowances for food was brilliant as between the breakfast served in the hotel and the expenses provided the students did not have a single complaint regarding food. (A rare thing in itself) everything was top notch from start to finish and we all really appreciate the extra work that you put in to overcome the issues with the snow and everything. Tom the bus driver was as sound a man as you could meet, really patient and so knowledgeable of the areas. So all in all a great tour and all your hard work and patience with me did not go to waste, thanks again for everything Jen and we will definitely use your company again if we are going on a similar tour in future!

In fact, I would go so far as to say he was the reason we all had such a great time. He was always punctual and his good humor cheered us up for the whole trip. Myself & my friend went on a soap tour from Monaghan last Thurs 25^th – Sat 27^th on a Mangan bus from Donegal. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip & we especially want to pass on our thanks & compliments to our bus driver Tommy. He was a real pleasure to travel with & at all times a real gentleman which added greatly to our enjoyment of the whole trip.

Sharon here from last weekends Coronation Street Trip.
Just a quick feedback on how we got on.
From start to finish it was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Everything was so well organised down to the booking. I had alot of queries in the beginning so with calls and emails I kept ye well busy! Good customer services is well and truly alive in Celtic Horizon Tours!
We enjoyed absolutely everything, the hotel was really nice and the weather was great too.
Can I just mention our bus driver, I cant remember his name, it might have been Tommie. He was a Cork man with dark hair. He was just great! No wrong turn anywhere!! Meticulous with time and such a friendly nice guy. The perfect bus driver!
Thanks very much for a great trip and I really hope to be booking with ye again very soon.
Being a parent with 2 small kids, Id love to see more family outings, peppa pig world, cadbury world etc!

Just a quick note re a trip my wife and her mother took to corrie last weekend, they left from galway they had a great weekend lovely people great hotel, and as my mother in law said a driver who could not do enough for them , Coleman was his name he drove for a cork company kearneyy i think they said, but they had a ball he pushed her in the wheelchair all around corrie not many coach drivers would do that, All in all well done great company to deal with my wife left a mail to day from her fone but she was not sure if it sent or not, we will use ye again.
