If travelling alone please indicate if you are willing to share a room – while this cannot be guaranteed we will endeavour to find you a partner.

It is the responsibility of each m/cyclist to ensure that they hold the relevant licence and have adequate insurance cover –copies of driving licence and insurance will required by our office prior to departure.

All motorcycles will be subject to a road-check prior to departure, those deemed not to be roadworthy will not be allowed travel and the question of a refund will not be entertained.

Accomodation

Mount Errigal Hotel

This upmarket hotel is 3.6 km from Letterkenny Golf Club and a 10-minute walk from Arena 7 Entertainment Complex.

Unfussy rooms offer flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi, plus tea and coffeemaking facilities. Upgraded rooms add minifridges, while suites feature whirlpool baths and separate sitting areas.

There’s an elegant restaurant with a grand piano and a fireplace, as well as a casual bar that serves burgers. Other amenities include an indoor pool, a sauna, a steam room and a fitness centre. Conference facilities include 9 meeting rooms. Parking is free.

Itinerary

DAY 1 - Saturday 31st August

09.30AM Group to meet on the Galway side of Athlone at the services for rider briefing.

10.00AM Depart and wind our way to Letterkenny. Broadly following the Shannon before riding on to Enniskillen and continuing on some brilliant roads into Letterkenny. We’ve allowed for a slow six hours to get there. This allows for lunch and photo stops.

DAY 2 - Sunday 01st September

10.00AM Depart Hotel. Travel the west of Donegal visiting Slieve League, the back road from Glenveagh to Falcarragh and a whole lot of other excellent places to ride a bike.

6.00PM Arrive back at Hotel

DAY 3 - Monday 02nd September

10.00AM Depart Hotel. Ride across NI with a route through the Sperrin Mountains and on to Newry.

The trip will finish at the Castlebellingham Services on the M1.
