Friday 25th & Saturday 26th October 2024

On Friday October 25^th we will meet at Maxol Filling Station, Killarney Rd, Abbeyfeale, Co Limerick, Eircode V94 C8XW – depart at 11.30am.

Two nights accommodation is at Brook Lane Hotel, Kenmare, Co. Kerry with a B&B rate of €185.00 per person. The hotel has given us a €20 voucher per person towards an evening meal on either evening. We have also been given ‘ upgraded ‘ rooms for our stay. We only have 14 rooms so please share if you can. Only booked by calling the office.

Departing Abbeyfeale, towards Tralee – Castlemaine – Killorglin – Beaufort – Killarney and lunch stop at Glenflesk, taking in Stack’s Mountain,Slieve Mish Mountain and along the foothills of The Macgillycuddy Reeks through Beaufort/Killarney.

After lunch onward towards Kilgarvan, over mountainous route to Ballylickey Glengarriff, Caha Pass to Kenmare and Brook Lodge.

Saturday’s scenic route starts and finishes in Kenmare!!

Brook Lane Hotel

This polished hotel is 27.3 km from Muckross House in Killarney National Park and 12 km from the Ladies View scenic point.

The plush, modern rooms offer free Wi-Fi and TVs; some rooms add DVD/CD players, tea and coffeemaking facilities, and heated floors in the bathrooms. Suites have balconies, fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs.

Continental breakfast is included, as are loaner bikes. Other amenities include a stylish restaurant and bar, and a cosy lounge with a fireplace.
