Welcome to Ireland! We’re delighted to welcome you to Ireland for St. Patrick’s Festival 2022. This four-night tour will see your band immerse themselves in Irish culture and play an important part in making the festivities a success this year. We’ll take in the famous landmarks of Ireland as well as participating in the annual national parade in Dublin City.

Extras
Shuttle bus transfers will operate on March 14th and 19th to and from Dublin Airport to your hotel (it is important that we are advised of the individuals flight arrangements to effectively plan the shuttles)
Accomodation
Clayton Hotel Charlemont
A brand new hotel overlooking the Grand Canal in Dublin 2, Clayton Hotel Charlemont boasts a shared lounge, Red Bean Roastery, Lockside Bar/Social and Gaudens Restaurant. The hotel is an 8-minute walk from St. Stephen’s Green and is located a short distance from attractions such as Grafton Street, Bord Gais Energy Theatre, and The Gaiety Theatre.
At the hotel, all rooms are equipped with a desk, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom.
A plated hot breakfast is cooked to order in the mornings.
This city centre hotel will also have a large ground floor with a bar, a restaurant and Red Bean Roastery coffee dock. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can provide tips on the area.
IMPORTANT
As of Friday 12th February 2021 – All NEW bookings will be placed in the “overflow” hotel, Clayton Hotel Charlemont. We will be operating a shuttle bus service each evening from one hotel to the other. They are 10 – 12 minute walk from each other.
Itinerary
Day 1: Tuesday - March 15th
Arrive at Dublin International Airport
Your tour director will meet your group on arrival and will stay with you for the entire tour. You will have the same coaches, drivers and guides throughout the tour.
Panoramic Bus Tour: Dublin City, Irelands Capital.
Dublin, Ireland’s capital, is one of the friendliest cities in the world. The city is proud of its Viking past and its streets and buildings are a living museum of its history since then, with medieval castles and cathedrals on display alongside the architectural splendours of the 18th-century when Dublin was the most handsome Georgian city of the British Empire. On our tour today you will experience Dublin in its own unique way, from the famous highlights to it’s hidden gems.
Stay: Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin and Clayton Hotel Charlemont
Your welcome dinner will be in the Clayton Burlington, clients staying in the Clayton Charlemont can avail of the private shuttle bus to the Clayton Burlington.
Day 2: Wednesday - March 16th
Morning: Visit the National Stud and Gardens
Today the group will be divided in two. The entire group will visit the National Stud & Gardens, half before the rehearsal performance in Kilkenny and half after with each group getting time at leisure in Kilkenny. The Irish National Stud belongs to the people of Ireland but prides itself on being enjoyed and appreciated by visitors from all parts of the globe. Nowhere better symbolises all that is great about County Kildare, the beating heart of Ireland’s thoroughbred industry, than the stud, a unique attraction of outstanding natural beauty that is home to some of the most magnificent horses and sumptuous gardens to be found anywhere in the world.
Afternoon: Visit and Perform in Kilkenny
Kilkenny is a medieval town in southeast Ireland. Its grand Kilkenny Castle was built in 1195 by Norman occupiers. The town has deep religious roots and many well-preserved churches and monasteries, including imposing St. Canice’s Cathedral and the Black Abbey Dominican priory, both from the 13th century. It’s also a crafts hub, with shops along its winding lanes selling pottery, paintings and jewellery
Day 3: Thursday - March 17th
Noon: St. Patrick’s Parade Begins
The 2022 Festival Parade will weave its way through the heart of the capital city in a flourish of colour and flair. Ireland’s finest street-theatre companies will swirl by with fantastical pageantry and raucous performances. Bands from Ireland will be joined by music ensembles from around the world and deliver uplifting rhythms for the spectacular procession.
Late Afternoon: Celbridge Parade Begins
The community of Celbridge hosts an annual St. Patrick’s Parade, which has is recent years become the envy of community parades around Ireland. With it’s proximity to Dublin City, this town has become the second parade for many bands and artists to continue their celebrations after the Dublin City Parade has finished!
Dinner at The Clayton Hotel, Burlington road
After a busy and exciting day entertaining crowds of thousands in Dublin and beyond, we’ll sit back, relax and enjoy a comforting and delicious 3-course Irish dinner.
Day 4: Friday - March 18th

Day at Leisure in Dublin City
This morning you’ll have to time to explore, shop, and dine at leisure. As your hotel is centrally located you will be able to visit some of Dublin’s finest retailers and high streets just in time for your journey home.
Evening: Dinner at Taylors Three Rock
Ireland’s most loved pub and entertainment venue Taylors Three Rock involves a rip-roaring evening of traditional Irish song and dance accompanied by a great selection of quality Irish food to delight your palate
