The Tattersalls Grandstand provides extensive viewing steps, a betting hall, bars, buffets and access to the lounge on Level 3.Racegoers in Tattersalls have access to view all the activities behind the stands including the Paddock and Unsaddling Enclosure and to the Hall of Fame, the Cheltenham Gold Cup Restaurant and the trade stands in the Tented Village. The Tattersalls Arena provides big screen viewing, bars, betting and refreshments. At The Festival, the Guinness Village opposite the last fence, extends the Tattersalls Enclosure with extra viewing steps, bars, a band and other entertainments

Opposite Touchwood shopping centre in Solihull town centre, this modern budget hotel is a 6-minute walk from Solihull station (for trains to Birmingham Moor Street in 10 minutes), 5.5 miles from Birmingham airport and the NEC exhibition centre.  Rooms, ranging from singles to family rooms with 2 pull-out beds, where kids aged 15 and under eat and stay free with paying adults, feature free WiFi and en suite bathrooms with showers, as well as tea and coffeemaking facilities, TVs and desks.  There's an on-site Thyme restaurant/bar

Transfers from Galway are direct to Dublin with Go Bus. There are no pick-ups along the way. Please transfer to the Celtic Horizon Tours coach at the port, as per itinerary below

05.25hrs          Pick-up in Gorey [at the hospital]

05.45hrs          Pick-up at the Beehive pub

06.45hrs          Pick-up at Hilton Garden Inn Custom House Dublin

07.00hrs          Pick-up at Irish Ferries Terminal 1 - North Wall

08.05hrs          Depart North Wall on Irish Ferries Ulysses

Thursday March 16th & Friday March 17th

After breakfast each day, depart for the racecourse, returning to the hotel after the last race. Dinner will be served in the hotel upon your return each evening.

 

Saturday March 18th  

After breakfast, depart for home, joining the 14.10 Irish Ferries Ulysses sailing to North Wall, Dublin.  Arrival time into Dublin is 17.30.  Drops en-route to Wexford.
