The Royal Welsh Show
The Royal Welsh Show is one of the oldest and largest agricultural shows in the UK, and one of the most prestigious shows of its type in Europe. The pinnacle event in the British agricultural The Royal Welsh Show showcases the best of Wales. The role of the modern Royal Welsh Show is a rounded one, as well as its principal function of showcasing the cream of Welsh livestock and the high quality food and drink produced in Wales, it encompasses the wider spectrum of farming and rural life and successfully bridges the gap between town and country. It provides something to interest everyone through its range of activities including forestry, horticulture, crafts, and countryside sports.

Off the A438 and the A49 roads and in the town centre, this classic hotel is in a 17th-century former coaching inn, beside the Hereford Museum and Art Gallery, and a 2-minute walk from the Hereford cathedral. Conservatively decorated rooms have free Wi-Fi, TVs, tea and coffeemaking facilities, and en suite bathrooms with tub/shower combinations. Upgraded rooms have 4-poster beds. We travel on the early morning ferry crossing to Holyhead. On arrival, you continue towards your hotel in Hereford, arriving late afternoon.
Monday & Tuesday:
On these mornings, you leave your hotel and travel to Builth Wells, the location of The Royal Welsh Show, where you have two full days to experience all that is good in Welsh farming.
Please note that driving time to and from show could be 1-2 hours, this is due to the lack of hotels and availability near Builth Wells.
After an early departure from your hotel, you will travel to Holyhead to join the early afternoon ferry crossing to Dublin Port. On arrival, you will return to your original joining point.
